It may come as a surprise, but Trezor has no investors. We started this company with the launch of a single product back in 2014, and we’ve been steadily growing ever since.

Why does this matter? Because it means we get to build the company that we, as a team, want to work for, and that you, as our community, want to support. No VCs, no banks, no suits — just a passionate group focused on what truly matters: creating a secure and open-source world where you have the right to control your own money.

While we do set ambitious goals, we’re free from external pressures, allowing us to innovate and push boundaries in ways that align with our core values.

On a personal note, I just returned from a climbing trip in Chamonix, France, where I was reminded of the thrill of exploration and the power of pushing beyond limits. At Trezor, we are continually inspired by the idea of reaching new heights in freedom, independence, and empowerment.

Recently, over 200 Trezor team members spent a few days at a beach resort by Lake Slapy in the Czech Republic. Paddleboarding, volleyball, DJing, and dancing filled the days as we bonded and recharged as a team.

This retreat was a reminder of the creativity, freedom, and security that guide us in our daily work. At Trezor, every day is meaningful because we’re building a community around these core values.

BTC Prague, the largest Bitcoin trade show in Europe, was a blast! Held in the city where Trezor was born, it felt like a true homecoming. We launched the Trezor Safe 5, enjoyed great conversations, and celebrated with beer and music. It was an unforgettable event that showed just how far we’ve come, and how much further we’ll go.
